Casa de Los Chiqueados is the gold standard for any vacation hideaway. The casa consists of different suites, all appointed with the finest furnishings and elegant details. The casa caretaker, Jose Luis, was so helpful and kind. All the staff were exceptional, gracious and so welcoming. They took care to help with anything we needed. The Casa is located on a very quiet street in an elegant neighborhood right in the center of town. You can easily walk to all the top locations and shopping areas. The owners provided a beautifully detailed guide to the premises, as well as all the info you could want on necessities and the area. We arrived and had beautiful fresh flowers and a bottle of good wine awaiting us. We can't say enough good things about Casa de los Chiqueados and it's fantastic owner, Christina Ruckel.

Having stayed in many rentals in SMA over the years, we were unexpectedly delighted with Casa Max. Having so many books to choose from made for some very enjoyable afternoons on our terrace. This is not your typical rental, but more of being a guest in a private home. Also loved all of the original artwork, much of it from the owners private collection.

This was our first trip to SMA and the accommodations exceeded our expectations! The unit is luxurious, private and secure. It is centrally located and within walking distance to center of town and all that SMA has to offer. Christina and Gary ( owners ) certainly have an eye for design...beautifully appointed with touches of Mexican color and local art throughout. The moment you arrive you are treated like VIP. Welcome baskets with fresh local fruit and snacks! The fresh flowers were a special touch as well. Top notch staff to assist you day or night. I would highly recommend staying at any of their properties. I believe the name translates to The House of the Spoiled and we couldn't agree more! Thank you for such a memorable visit...we will be back!

If home for you is security, luxury, convenience, kindness and opulence, Casa de los Chiqueados is home. I stayed five months and instantly felt like I was accepted as family by Christina and Gary, the owners, being included in their home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. The property is situated in el Centro, convenient to every location in the city, yet is inordinately quiet, even serene. The top floor terrace is ideal for entertaining, complete with a grill, sink, and romantic fireplace.There is a telephone with free service to the U.S. and Canada for long distance calls. Rosa, the housekeeper and property onsite person, became my family, and Jose Luis, the property manager, is genuinely concerned with addressing any and all of your questions and needs. You will be spoiled for any other residential experience in SMA once you have stayed at Casa de los Chiqueados. Plus the price vs. what is offered defies reason. You will not second guess or regret your decision to choose Casa de los Chiqueados for your accommodations when you visit SMA.

Thank you Christina and Gary for all the little extras that were awaiting us when we booked our vacation at Topaz. It was beyond our expectations. It was a dream property. Beautiful and your attention to detail was remarkable. Wish you would come and help me do the same thing in my own home. Casa de los Chiqueados is a beautifully appointed and comfortable casita. The rooftop terrace with a grill offers beautiful views. The kitchen is very well equipped. Both bathrooms are large with lovely showers. The Casa de los Chiqueados is centrally located so easy walking distance to outstanding restaurants and activities. There is much to do in San Miguel. The people are friendly, happy, and helpful. The owners, Christina and Gary, were delightful, supportive, and gracious. You will love this magical place!
