I spend a month in this very efficient, cozy and luxurious apartment. It is perfect for a single person, in a great location close to centro and with wonderful staff happy to help with just about anything. The other apartments were all occupied by Canadian women who were great company. If I didn't have a dog, I could happily spend several months there.

Recently had the opportunity to stay in San Miguel at Casa de los Chiqueados again. I plan my trip to San Miguel around availability of rooms. I love the city of San Miguel, the food, the smells, the people. If you don't stay at this Casa you unfortunately get runner up lodgings. I love this place so much!

Beautiful, spacious, lovely decorative accessories, comfy seating & sleeping, meticulously clean and perfectly safe – this is Casa Maggie. It is located a short walk to the restaurants and shops of San Antonio as well as Parque Juarez. A longer walk (20 mins) or a $3 taxi fare gets you to the Jardín and centro. Casa Maggie is the choice for the guest who wants a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, a convenient location which includes the local Mexican flavor of San Miguel – and all at a very attractive price. Casa Maggie is that rare find that we all search for. We highly and wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home for your stay in the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende.

My husband and I spent so much time planning our wedding that we wanted to have a honeymoon where would could go and relax and be taken care of and our hosts, Christina and Gary, at Casa de los Chiqueados went above and beyond to take such good care of us. The room was absolutely beautiful and we were greeted to two towel swans that were made up as a bride and groom and rose petals on our bed. SO ADORABLE! The amenities were amazing and the decorations were beautiful, but also made you feel comfortable and so at home. The attention to detail was top notch. The location is perfect. You are near everything. And if there is something that you need, the staff is more than happy to help assist. The stay was amazing and our host were even more amazing. They make you feel like family and make you want to return again very soon! Thank you Gary and Christina for making the honeymoon of our dreams come true!

This was our first visit to SMA and it ended all too soon. We scheduled a 6 day visit but could have stayed 6 weeks or longer. The property owners live nearby and provided first class service in all aspects. We did not require anything above the numerous amenities already provided in the unit, but the owners personally checked on our well-being to ensure we fully enjoyed our time there.
So much stress trying to decide when to return next. Everyone should have this problem.

I have stayed twice at Casa de los Chiqueados, the most recent being for February and March of this year. Every room, nook and cranny is comfortable but exquisitely appointed. It is truly a luxury experience. Christine's imaginative eye has made every room comfortable but one is surrounded by her tasteful collection of Mexican art and artifacts. The kitchens are well outfitted, right down to electric juicers! Take that fresh juice and begin your day on the elegant rooftop patio. José and Rosa will listen to and look after your every need. The property is central, safe and within walking distance to main attractions and local markets and shopping. I personally recommend the coziness of the individual bachelor suites. You cannot go wrong whatever you choose.
