San Miguel is a wonderful city to visit, and staying at Casa de los Chiqueados made the visit that much more special. The location is great, on a quiet residential street but just a few minutes walk to the center of town. San Miguel is a safe city and I felt very comfortable walking to and from the Jardin day and night to visit all of the wonderful shops and restaurants. The accommodations themselves are really beautiful, and such a great value for the price. The decor is warm and welcoming with so many unique touches. The owner has an amazing attention to detail to really make her guests feel welcome, and really goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. I can't wait to return to San Miguel and Casa de los Chiqueados!

This apartment was excellent in every respect; bed, art, shower, furniture, books, movies, etc., and your choice of kitchen appliances made the stay extra special. We enjoyed cooking, and with the market so close, the kitchen you supplied made it a perfect visit. Definitely, more important for us is your staff. We have stayed in Atascadero, Ojo de Agua, San Antonio, Centro, etc., of all these places no manager can come close to Jose Luis, no words can express the most caring professionalism he personifies. Rosa is also at the top. She kept our apartment spotless and provided other special tasks. Marco the gardener is a very nice man, always in good humor. Because of these people and your caring for us with perfect choices of apartment appointments and appliances we look forward to returning. Once more Jose Luis is great!

Casa de los Chiqueados is in the top three on the list of the best places I have stayed. I am a world traveler so that is saying a lot. Christina, the owner, goes above and beyond to make each guest feel special and to make sure the needs of her guests are met. Christina possesses the gift of hospitality. When you see how she makes each guest feel welcomed and part of the Casa de los Chiqueados family, you have to recognize this as a gift. She is also a gifted decorator. The apartments are stylishly decorated. In each apartment it is very obvious that a lot of thought went into planning down to the smallest detail. The rooftop was actually my favorite place in the complex. It was so comfortable, if I was up there more than ten minutes I’d fall asleep. If I needed anything Rosa or Jose Luis was right there to help. Rosa takes care of the property and Jose Luis manages. It was always a nice surprise when treats from homemade cookies, brownies and even the best homemade pasta sauce I have ever tasted were delivered to my apartment from Christina. Christina is an excellent cook. She is a master at everything related to Casa de los Chiqueados. You will want for nothing when staying at Casa de los Chiqueados. As a solo traveler I felt safe the entire time. The apartments are central to restaurants, shops and the main square. Would I visit again? You bet. I am planning on returning in 2016 and staying longer.

What a hidden gem! The Casa is beautifully decorated and located centrally. Especially loved the roof top terrace. The owners and Jose Luis personally welcomed us like old friends. Fresh flowers and fruit were in Casa Diamante. Everything was thought out and designed to make us feel very special. Can't wait to go back."
