Casa de los Chiqueados is a great place to stay. This luxury villa has everything you need in accommodations. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living room were well decorated and comfortable. The rooftop terrace and private balcony were spacious, and provided great outdoor living. Christina and Gary were welcoming and helped us plan restaurants and activities.

Jose Luis, the manager, met me when I arrived and explained in detail all the amenities, door locks, and common areas including the lovely rooftop terrace. He also introduced me to Rosa, the maid, who was always attentive throughout my stay. Rosa also served the lovely breakfast each morning. The owners had left a nice bottle of wine and a big basket of fruit as a welcome as well as flowers. Really lovely! The location is within walking distance of the Jardin and on a safe neighborhood street. The best! It is all lovingly decorated by the owner decorator/designer down to the lampshades! Very elegant and comfortable.

Our stay in Apartment Topaz at Casa de los Chiqueados was wonderful. We traveled as two couples and the apartment was beautifully appointed with great amenities (Queen beds in both bedrooms, 2 private baths, fully equipped modern kitchen, wifi). There is a roof top sitting area with fireplace which was perfect for enjoying coffee and watching the hot air balloons float by in the morning, and sipping wine as the sun set in the evening. Jose Luis, the property manager, was a joy to work with, both prior to and during our visit in helping make dining, tour, and shopping reservations. Rosa, the delightful housekeeper, made sure that apartment was well taken care of and stocked each day. Would love to return again soon.

What a hidden gem! The Casa is beautifully decorated and located centrally. Especially loved the roof top terrace. The owners and Jose Luis personally welcomed us like old friends. Fresh flowers and fruit were in Casa Diamante. Everything was thought out and designed to make us feel very special. Can't wait to go back."

This is our ninth year coming to San Miguel and staying at one of the properties of Casa de los Chiqueados. We stayed last year and this year in Casa Max. It's like staying in your own home. Christina and Gary have done a superb job in making sure their guests have every comfort of home. This property is withing walking distance to lots of great restaurants, shops and of course the Jardin, which is a very "happening" place.

Our stay at Casa De Los Chiqueados was one of the most enjoyable and memorable vacations we have had anywhere in the world. The property is beautiful and centrally located right in the middle of all San Miguel has to offer. Christina and Gary the hosts have thought through everything from community laundry room, videos and games, honor bars and even tasty lollipops for your sweet tooth.
The suites are so well decorated you feel drawn into the San Miguel life. Christina oversaw the design and decoration of the units and is an extremely talented designer. The Colonial spirit of Mexico is alive and living beautifully in this wonderful property and in the hearts of its hosts.
Christina and Gary are an incredible duo. It is very clear that they have created this property and experience out of love of the community and in order to provide incredible hospitality for their guests. For example, our first morning we woke up to a wonderful assortment of baked goods which Christina has delivered. This was on top of the tasty bowl full of snacks and candies that Christina left for us at check in. Christina learned that i had an interest in art and offered to give us a first hand walking tour of San Miguel including all of her favorite shops. I found several pieces of art which i loved and it was an awesome day.
Through time spent with Christina and Gary I was touched by their warm, friendly personalities and generous spirit. Quite simply it doesn't get any better than this. I will be back and you should come too! Thank you Christina and Gary and don't change a thing!
